Tetsuya Morikawa joined the Company in 2017 and has since played a key leadership role in business operations and crafting our corporate strategy as Executive Vice President & CFO. We have determined that he is well suited to lead the Company toward sustainable growth.

Profile of the Newly Appointed President & CEO

Tetsuya Morikawa began his career at Nippon Steel Corporation, where he spent seven years engaged in the procurement of steelmaking raw materials and investment management for overseas mining projects, He subsequently moved to the United States, gaining experience at a Big Four accounting firm in international tax services and later serving as a finance leader at a U.S.-based corporation. Upon returning to Japan, he held senior finance leadership roles for Japan and the North Asia region at several global technology companies, during which he led multiple business restructurings, M&A transactions, PMI initiatives, and process improvement programs. Since joining Bushu Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 2017, he has served as Executive Vice President & CFO, bridging business and finance while designing and crafting the economic frameworks for transactions such as plant acquisitions and warehouse capacity expansions.
