For nearly three decades, Bushu Pharmaceuticals has grown as a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), entrusted by many partners with the production of commercial pharmaceuticals and clinical trial materials. Through these experiences, we have steadily expanded our technical capabilities and strengthened our role in supporting the healthcare industry.

In recent years, we have continued to invest in the future of our business—enhancing solid-dosage manufacturing capacity, introducing advanced filling lines and cold-chain facilities for biopharmaceuticals, and driving digital transformation (DX) to support the next generation of pharmaceutical manufacturing. These initiatives form a strong foundation for sustainable growth and for delivering greater value to our customers.

Experience

After 7 years of procurement in the steel industry of raw materials and financial management of mining projects at Nippon Steel, Mr. Morikawa spent several years in the U.S. for international tax services at one of the big 4 accounting firms, followed by his responsibility as the head of finance roles in various technology companies in the U.S., Japan, and North Asia regions. He led multiple business reorganizations, M&A, PMI, and process improvement projects along the way.

Mr. Morikawa puts together narratives and numbers as SVP & CFO and designed overall economics in plant acquisition and warehouse capacity expansion projects. He served as Executive Vice President and CFO from February 2023 and assumed the position of President / CEO on June 29, 2026.
