Bushu Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets (Near-term Targets) have been certified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

SBTi is an international joint initiative established in 2015 by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

In order to achieve the Paris Agreement’s goal of keeping global average temperature rise to well below 1.5°C, the initiative certifies corporate greenhouse gas emission reduction targets that are consistent with science-based reduction scenarios.

Our greenhouse gas emission reduction target (Near-term Target) was recognized as being consistent with science-based reduction scenarios, and we received SBTi certification on November 25, 2025.

Our greenhouse gas emission reduction target is as follows:

– Reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by fiscal year 2030 compared to fiscal year 2020.

– Reduce Scope 3 Category 1-8 and 12 greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by fiscal year 2030 compared to fiscal year 2023.

To achieve this goal, we will continue to optimize our energy usage and introduce renewable energy, as well as promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions throughout our value chain, with the aim of contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
